In order to complete the exam i will need an understanding of the word 'skill' so that i can define and explain the skills i have developed when producing my coursework.There are various definition of the word 'Skill' when looking on the Internet, however the majority of sources agree that a skill is a way of problem solving when carrying out different tasks, as well as this they all agree it is having the ability to use your previously knowledge in any given situation. One particular definition stated that a skill is learned compared to an ability that is innate, thus through our life experience we are constantly building on a range of skills to use in different circumstances.

After looking at the many definitions of the word skill it seems fair to suggest that a skill is an ability or talent that can be developed by training. This means a person becomes specialized rather than just able to do the activity if they practice and develop there skills. There are also other types of skill for example cognitive skills these are any mental skills that are used in the process of acquiring knowledge, these skills include reasoning, perception, and intuition.Thus when producing my A2 coursework i should gain many new technological skills developing on the skills i gained last year.
